I made a Tex-Mex Taco Salad using Ground Turkey yesterday. It was delicious, easy, and contained several healthy ingredients. Here is the recipe:
1 tbsp canola oil
1/2-1 cup chopped onion
3/4 lb. lean ground turkey
14.5 oz can no salt added stewed tomatoes
15 oz. can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. salt or to taste
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper or hot pepper sauce
2 tbsp. chopped cilantro
4 cups shredded lettuce
1/2 cup Mexican style cheese
tortilla chips are optional (I did not use them)
Heat oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add onions and garlic. Saute for about 1 minute. Add ground turkey and brown. Stir until cooked through, about 5 minutes. Stir in tomatoes with liquid, beans, chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper. Cook, stirring several times until heated through about 3 minutes. Add cilantro to the meat mixture and serve atop lettuce. Sprinkle with cheese.

I am a Personal Chef and my clients love my Turkey burgers
1 lb ground turkey
2 tbl spoons garlic powder
2 tbl spoons onion powder
1 med apple chopped fine
4 tbl spoon pineapple jelly
1tbl cooking oil
red pepper to taste
heat oil in a sauce pan and add the apple, let cook until soft. Cool and set aside.
In a large bowl mix everything else. When the apple is cool add and then make patties. Great on the grill or just cook it in a pan 4 minutes on each side!! Enjoy
why not use the turkey in place of beef in a lasagna or bolangnaise
you could make them into meatballs with some sage serve with some wholewheat or white pasta and tomato sauce
or you could make hamburgers/patties id just add some diced onion an egg to bind it together and a few of your favorite herbs
or you could make a chilli con carne and some rice
im sure any thing you make will be great have fun
love the way turkey burgers come out, make thick patties and grill them, top with lettuce, tomato, sauteed portobello mushrooms, sliced avocados, swiss cheese, and a drizzle of olive oil on a toasted bun, serve with baked sweet potato fries %26amp; coleslaw
