Help! I need a relatively easy ground turkey recipe other than meatloaf. Any suggestions ?

I have fridge/pantry stocked with basic ingredients, ie: onions, garlic, tomatoes, red pepper, beef and chicken stock, canned sauce and tomatoes, etc. Thanks in advance.Help! I need a relatively easy ground turkey recipe other than meatloaf. Any suggestions ?

QUICK AND EASY TURKEY NOODLE CASSEROLE





Ingredients:





* 2 pounds ground turkey


* 2 cups chopped celery


* 1/4 cup chopped green pepper


* 1/4 cup chopped onion


* 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup


* 1 (8 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, drained


* 1 (4.5 ounce) jar sliced mushrooms, drained


* 1 (4 ounce) jar diced pimientos, drained


* 1/4 cup soy sauce


* 1/2 teaspoon salt


* 1/2 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning


* 1 cup sour cream


* 8 ounces wide egg noodles, cooked and drained





Directions:





1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the turkey. Add celery, green pepper and onion; cook until tender. Stir in soup, water chestnuts, mushrooms, pimientos, soy sauce, salt and lemon pepper. Reduce heat; simmer for 20 minutes.





2. Remove from the heat; add sour cream and noodles. Spoon half into a freezer container; cover and freeze for up to 3 months. Place remaining mixture in a greased 2-qt. baking dish. Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes or until heated through.





3. To use frozen casserole: Thaw in the refrigerator. Transfer to a greased 2-qt. baking dish and bake at directed. (Serves 8-12)
The challenge on The Biggest Loser last night was a cook off and this was the winning recipe. supposed to be easy?





Tiny Turkey Meatball and Chickpea Soup with Broccoli Rabe and Pecorino


Serves 4


289 calories per serving


2 cups low-sodium chicken broth


2 cups low-fat salt-free marinara


One 15 ounce can low-sodium chickpeas, drained and rinsed


Crushed red pepper flakes to taste


1-1/3 pound package ground lean turkey


Nu-Salt


陆 pound broccoli rabe, cut into bite size pieces


2 tablespoons grated pecorino romano


DIRECTIONS


1. Heat a large pot over high heat with chicken broth, marinara sauce, beans and crushed red pepper flakes until mixture comes to a simmer.


2. While mixture comes to a simmer, season ground turkey with Nu-Salt and pepper flakes. Roll turkey into about 40 meatballs.


3. Next, stir broccoli rabe into the broth and bring to a simmer. Add meatballs to the broth, cover pan with lid and lightly poach the meatballs until just cooked through, stirring occasionally for about 6 minutes. The broth should barely simmer. Check soup for seasoning.


4. Ladle into 4 large bowls and top with pecorino. Although no actual salt is called for in this recipe, please add it as you see fit.
Fry up Ground Turkey, Add bbq sauce, Take bread dough ( you can find frozen loaves), 1 loaf usually makes about 3-4, press out (like a calzone,add a scoop of your cooked turkey meat in sauce, and put mozzerella, and mild shredded cheddar cheese on top, fold up(like a calzone) and bake at 350 for about 20 minutes. My whole family absoulutely loves these! Try it! Oh, you can also add any spices you want to your turkey, before adding Bbq, garlic is good, salt, pepper.

Ingredients





9 oz of lean ground turkey


9 oz of lean ground beef


2 eggs


1 medium onion, chopped.


4 tbsp BBQ sauce


1 cup water


1 cup bread crumbs











Directions





Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine 1/2 cup of water, 1/2 cup of bread crumbs, and 1 egg in a small bowl and let sit for two minutes. Thoroughly mix in ground beef.


Grease a loaf pan with cooking spray and layer the beef meatloaf mixture evenly on the bottom. Add 2 tbsp of BBQ sauce to the layer and cover with 1/2 of a chopped onion.

Combine 1/2 cup of water, 1/2 cup of bread crumbs, and 1 egg in a small bowl and let sit for two minutes. Thoroughly mix in ground turkey.


Layer the turkey meatloaf mixture on top of the beef meatloaf / BBQ sauce / and onions. Add 2 tbsp of BBQ sauce to the layer and cover with 1/2 of a chopped onion.


Cook in oven at 350 degrees for 60 minutes.


Makes 8 slices.

CHILI!!!





I love Turkey Chili.





Use all the ingredients you have listed in your question, add in a small can of kidney beans, 1 tablespoon each of cumin, paprika and chili powder. Let it simmer for about 40 min. WALA!!
a spaghetti bolognese sauce. You just substitute the beef with grownd turkey. its yummy and you dont even know its turkey and not beef!
I use ground turkey in place of ground beef in all my recipes - tacos, chili, meatballs, etc...
Swedish Meat Balls in a sour cream gravy over egg noodles or rice. Also makes excellent chili and spaghetti sauce.
