What are good turkey recipes?

We are going to replace everything with turkey and were wondering what good turkey recipes there are???What are good turkey recipes?
just replace the meat in a dish and use turkey,, work with it some as the taste will be off but its turkey and not beef or fish or pork ,,What are good turkey recipes?
GROUND TURKEY ENCHILADAS





1 1/2 lbs ground turkey


1 pkg frozen spinach - thawed and drained


2 cups salsa


1 can diced tomatoes


1 pkg flour tortillas


2 cups Mexican blend cheese


1 8 oz. block cream cheese


ground cumin to taste





Cook ground turkey in skillet until no longer pink over medium heat. Add drained spinach and 1 cup of salsa to turkey and cumin to taste (about 1 tsp). Cook about 5 minutes until all liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat and add cream cheese. Mix until melted.





Lay flour tortilla flat and place 1/3 cup mix, roll and place in greased 13x9 inch pan with flat side up. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.





Remove from oven and top with 1 cup salsa mixed with can of diced tomatoes and additional cumin to taste. Top with cheese. Return to oven for 5 minutes until cheese is melted.





Serve with refried beans and Mexican rice. Sour cream and guacamole are also great additions.

TURKEY SOUP





1-1/2 lbs diced, cooked turkey


3 medium turnips, peeled and diced


1 medium white onion chopped


4 slices center cut bacon, diced


1/4 lb pork sausage


1 - 12 oz can Great Northern Beans


1 - 12 oz can chicken broth (low sodium preferred)


1 - tbsp dried Herbes De Provence (sage, thyme, rosemary)


2 - tbsp olive oil (may need 1 to 2 tbs. more)


water





In dutch oven or large heavy sauce pan, add olive oil, bacon and sausage and saute at medium heat until browned. Add turnips and onions and continue to saute until turnips are softened and onions are translucent. (You may need to add a drizzle of olive oil as the turnips will draw moisture)





After the turnips and onions are ready, stir in turkey, Great Northern Beans, and chicken broth as well as 24 oz. of water. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes. Add Herbes De Provence and stir. Continue to simmer at low heat, stirring occasionally, for 15 to 20 minutes.





Makes approx. 8 servings

GARLIC TURKEY MEATBALLS





1 package ground turkey meat


1 egg


1 cup garlic bread crumbs


2 dashes garlic salt or powder





Defrost turkey meat. Add turkey meat and bread crumbs. Mix well. Add egg to mixture. Mix well until completely blended. Roll meat into any sized meat balls. Spray pan with pam.





Place them on a frying pan over a medium flame/heat. Move pan around several times to brown the meat balls all around. After several minutes cooking, cut one open and check for color. If still red, let it cook for longer. If light brown, they are ready.





Take them off and place on a plate. Dash garlic salt or powder once. Flip meat balls over then dash again.

TURKEY TERIYAKI BURGERS





1 package turkey meat


1 egg


1 cup teriyaki


1 cup bread crumbs (any flavor)





Put teriyaki in large bowl. Slowly add bread crumbs and mix. You don't need to use the entire cup of bread crumbs. Mix teriyaki and crumbs very well until a brownish moist bread crumb pile results.





Add turkey meat and egg to the large bowl. Mix well.





Use a mayo lid or pancake molder to form the perfect shaped burger. Put the burgers on a grill at a medium flame. flip several times until nicely browned.

HEALTHY/EASY TURKEY PICANTE TACOS





1 lb lean ground turkey


16 oz. Pace Picante sauce (medium or hot)


Monterey Jack cheese


flour tortillas


spinach or iceberg lettuce





Brown 1 pound ground turkey. Drain grease; add Picante sauce - about 12 oz.





Simmer 8 to 10 minutes. Shred lettuce. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Serves 5 to 7 people.

TURKEY TETRAZZINI





6 oz. spaghetti, cooked


1/4 c. butter


1/2 c. flour


2 2/3 c. chicken broth


1 c. cream


1/4 c. sherry


1 tsp. salt


Pepper to taste


1/2 lb. mushrooms


1/2 c. chopped green peppers


1 c. grated Parmesan cheese





In large pot, melt butter; add flour and whisk. Add wine, cream, seasonings, cheese, turkey, mushrooms and green peppers. Place cooked spaghetti in bottom of baking dish and top with tetrazzini mixture. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.

Ground turkey is great in burritos, tacos, etc. where you can add liquid. It's pretty dry to use as a substitute for ground beef in hamburgers. You could consider replacing part of the beef with turkey in hamburgers. If you have leftover roast turkey it makes great soup--just put the carcass in a big pot with some onion, celery, and carrot, and simmer until the meat comes off the bones. Chill in the refrigerator, skim the fat off the top, and you've got the makings for soup. Whip up some homemade noodles (they're real easy to make) and you've got a great soup for cold winter days.

Turkey Smoked Sausage and Vegetable Kabobs





Ingredients





* no-stick cooking spray


* 2 medium sweet potatoes, cubed


* 1/2 cup apricot preserves


* 2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard


* 1 package Butterball庐 Smoked Turkey Dinner Sausage


* 1 medium red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces


* 1 medium yellow bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces


* 1 large red onion, cut into 8 wedges





Directions





Spray cold grate of outdoor grill with cooking spray. Preheat grill for medium direct heat.





Place sweet potatoes in medium saucepan. Add enough water to cover. Bring to a boil on high heat. Cook 5 to 7 minutes, or until almost tender.





Meanwhile, combine preserves and mustard. Set aside.





Drain potatoes. Thread evenly onto 8 skewers alternately with the sausage, bell peppers and onion.





Grill 8 to 10 minutes, or until sausage is hot and vegetables are crisp-tender, turning and brushing several times with the preserves mixture.








Turkey Tortilla Lasagna








Ingredients





* 1 cup low-fat ricotta cheese


* 3 cups (12 ounce) shredded Monterey Jack cheese


* 6 (6 inch) corn tortillas


* 3 cups salsa


* 5 ounces thinly sliced Butterball庐 Thin Sliced Oven Roasted Turkey Breast


* 1 can (15 ounce) black beans, drained


* chopped fresh cilantro


* no-stick cooking spray





Directions











Preheat oven to 450掳聺F.








Combine the ricotta, 2 cups of the Monterey Jack. Set aside.








Coat a loaf pan with cooking spray. Cover bottom of loaf pan with 2 tortillas, overlapping them in the middle.








Spread 1 cup of the salsa over tortillas, layer 12 slices of turkey. Top with 1/3 of the black beans, 1/3 of the cheese mixture, and 1/3 of the cilantro. Repeat 2 more times starting with tortillas (a total of 3 layers). Top with remaining 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese.








Cover lasagna with foil. Bake 12 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 8 to 10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and lightly browned. Let lasagna stand 5 minutes before serving.
EASY TURKEY NOODLE CASSEROLE





1 (10 3/4 oz.) can Campbell's cream of celery soup


1/2 c. milk


2 c. cooked med. egg noodles (2 c. uncooked)


1 c. cooked peas


2 tbsp. chopped sweet red pepper


1 1/2 c. cubed, cooked turkey


1 tbsp. butter


2 tbsp. dry bread crumbs





In a 1 1/2 quart casserole, combine soup and milk. Stir in noodles, peas, red pepper, and turkey.


Conventional Oven: Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes or until hot; stir.





Microwave Oven: Cover with a lid and microwave on high for 9 minutes or until hot, stirring twice during heating.





In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and bread crumbs. Brown. Spread over casserole; cook in microwave for 1 minute.








EASY TURKEY PIE





1 pkg. (6 oz.) chicken-flavored stuffing mix


1 3/4 c. diced, cooked turkey or chicken


4 eggs, slightly beaten


1 pkg. (8 oz.) frozen mixed vegetables with onion sauce





Prepare stuffing as directed on package reducing water to 1 1/2 cup. Add turkey and eggs; mix well. Spread mixture evenly in a greased 9-inch pie pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Meanwhile prepare vegetables as directed on package using milk. Serve wedges of pie topped with vegetable sauce. 6 servings.
Turkey Salad (made with leftover cooked turkey)


Chop up Turkey, add mayonaise and dill pickle relish to taste. Salt %26amp; pepper if desired.





Turkey Marsala


Use 3 turkey breast cutlets. Dredge them in flour and brown them on both sides in olive oil. Before they are completely done, add a quart of fresh mushrooms and 1.5 cups of marsala wine. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until cooked down to a thin gravy consistency.
