theyre okHave you ever made meatballs out of turkey, did they taste good, any recipes?
Yep. I've made 'em plenty of times. Just use the same recipe as you use for beef meatballs and simply substitute ground turkey for ground beef.
I also find that ground turkey has quite a bit more moisture than ground beef. So, you may need to kinda drain it a bit or just add more breadcrumbs to the recipe.
I'd still mix a bit of lean ground pork and beef (about 1/3 of total meat overall) in with the turkey to boost flavor.
Use any meatball recipe that contains bread crumbs (FoodTV site has tons) but just sub ground turkey.
Turkey Meat Balls: YUM YUM!!
They are not quite as tasty as regular meatballs but if you play around with seasoning properly you can find a combination you like
This may not be that healthy, but might as well make a suggestion. I think that turkey meatball taste good as a meatball sandwich. Make or buy marrainare sauce, add meatballs and put on long garlic cheese bread!!!! YUM!!!
