Do you have any good recipes using ground turkey as the main ingredient?

Like burgers, chili etc....Do you have any good recipes using ground turkey as the main ingredient?
Ground turkey can be used with any recipe that calls for ground beef. My mom and step dad do not eat red meat and they still make burgers, chili, burritos, sloppy joes, etc; the food tastes just as good.

Turkey Chili

1 1/2 pound ground turkey

1 large onion - chopped

1 bell pepper - chopped

1 can diced tomatoes

1 small can tomato sauce

1 can red kidney beans

1 can chili beans or pinto beans

2 heaping tablespoons ground cumin

2 teaspoons ground chili

1 package McCormick's chili mix

2 tablespoons worchesthire sauce (however you spell that)

2 - 3 cups water

salt and pepper to taste

In a heavy pot, brown the turkey and then once cooked through, add the worchesthire sauce, stir in thoroughly. Add the onion and bell pepper and let cook on medium heat until vegetables wilt. Add tomato products and let cook for about 1/2 hour. Now add all other ingredients and let cook for about 1 hour more. Serve with crackers!
I just use ground turkey in place of ground beef in all of my recipes. Sometimes, when browning, you have to have a little more oil, or non-stick spray, as the turkey is far leaner. Here's a recipe for something more adventurous (It's delicious!)

Asian Turkey Meatball Wraps

1 pound ground turkey

1 tablespoon light soy sauce

1 teaspoon minced garlic

2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger root

1 cup brown rice

2 cups water

16 large lettuce leaves

1 cup shredded carrots

1 cup green onions, thinly sliced

1 cup sliced radishes

1 cup sliced red bell pepper

1/3 cup light soy sauce

1/3 cup water

3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

2 teaspoons minced garlic

1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger root

1 teaspoon sugar

In a medium bowl, mix together ground turkey, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 teaspoon minced garlic and 2 teaspoons ginger. Form into 16 meatballs and roll into ovals. Cover and refrigerate.

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine rice with 2 cups water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, or until rice is tender.

Preheat the grill or broiler. Arrange rice, lettuce leaves, carrots, green onions, radishes and red peppers onto a serving platter or place each into a small bowl. In a medium bowl, mix together 1/3 cup soy sauce, 1/3 cup water, lemon juice, 2 teaspoons garlic, 1 tablespoon ginger, and sugar. Divide into 4 small dipping bowls.

Thread two meatballs onto each 10-inch skewer. Grill or broil for 10 to 12 minutes, turning occasionally to brown all sides. If broiling, line the broiler pan with aluminum foil and drain fat after 6 minutes.

To eat, place a leaf of lettuce onto the palm of your hand, spoon on a little rice, then a meat roll, and a few of the vegetables. Roll up and dip in dipping sauce or spoon sauce over.

Good Eating............ : )
I make turkey burgers all the time for my husband. He loves cumin, ginger, garlic and hot peppers. I add each of these to the ground turkey, mash it around, let it marinate in the fridge for an hour or so and then make burgers. They are very good this way.

1 pound ground turkey, not the super lean option.

2 cloves of garlic, chopped

1 tbsp. chopped, fresh ginger

1 tsp. cumin, ground

1/2 serrano chili or less, chopped. Wash hands afterwards and don't rub your eyes while working with the chili.

Good Luck!

Whole wheat buns. Just make your burger up like you normally do.
TURKEY TERIYAKI BURGERS

1 package turkey meat

1 egg

1 cup teriyaki

1 cup bread crumbs (any flavor)

Put teriyaki in large bowl. Slowly add bread crumbs and mix. You don't need to use the entire cup of bread crumbs. Mix teriyaki and crumbs very well until a brownish moist bread crumb pile results.

Add turkey meat and egg to the large bowl. Mix well.

Use a mayo lid or pancake molder to form the perfect shaped burger. Put the burgers on a grill at a medium flame. flip several times until nicely browned.
I love using ground turkey as a substitute for ground beef in spaghetti. There's a great recipe for ';Alabama Spaghetti'; that I found on www.squaresheep.com. Here's the link for the recipe: http://www.squaresheep.com/RecipeDetails.aspx?ID=30%26amp;Alabama%20Spaghetti
I make meatballs out of it. Just simple ones, you know egg, onion soup mix, breadcrumbs, seasonings. I also make this sauce to go them with catalina dressing, apricot jam, and soy sauce. the recipe is
